Ottawa—As of May 1, the Canada Aviation Museum will change over its summer hours of operation. The new hours are: Daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please note that the Museum will no longer open on Thursday evenings; please adjust all listings accordingly.
The Canada Aviation Museum’s flights over the Capital where visitors can fly in two different and important vintage aircraft; a historical Stearman bi-plane and a de Havilland Canada Chipmunk used as an elementary trainer.
Let There Be Flight - The Wright Brothers Centenary
Cool Summer Workshops
Daily in July and August - Children can make and fly a take-home kite while learning the many functions these devices have. Fly a paper biplane model through open barn doors in one of four contests to win a flight in a vintage aircraft! Workshops are free for the general public with the price of admission; no registration is required.
Canada Day Open House
July 1 - Annual Canada Day event from dawn to dusk. Festivities include music, flying models, air demonstrations and. a full schedule of activities for one and all in the sky and on the ground. FREE ADMISSION, FREE PARKING
The Canada Aviation Museum, is located at the intersection of the Aviation and Rockcliffe Parkways. Admission is $6 adults; $5 for students and seniors; and $3 for children 4-15; free for children under 4. A family pass is $14. Free parking.
