Bush Planes in the Far North
Carved into large soapstone slabs by artists Ernie Kadloo and Suzanne Walsh, these winter scenes depict early bush flights along the coast of Hudson Bay in the last century.

On February 23, 1909, the A.E.A. Silver Dart took off from Bras d'Or Lake in Baddeck, Nova Scotia. This historic moment and the team of talented men who were behind the story are captured in these carvings by artist Suzanne Walsh.

Remembering Operation Manna
In the spring of 1945, a team of dedicated airmen took part in the famous Operation Manna. Flying Lancaster, Halifax and Mosquito bombers, they crossed the skies of the German-occupied Netherlands dropping food supplies into Dutch towns and villages. This special compilation of works commissioned from artist François Gauvreau honours the courage of these airmen and the Dutch people during this time of hardship.
