On May 18th, Celebrate International Museums Day at three national museums

The Canada Science and Technology Museums Corporation invites you to discover more at its three Museums on International Museums Day Tuesday May 18. Free all day, the Canada Agriculture Museum, the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, and the Canada Science and Technology Museum encourage you to engage with your scientific and technological past, present and future. Each year, more than seven million Canadians learn about Canada’s science and technology heritage through visits at these three museums, travelling exhibitions, educational and on-line programs and more.

Highlights:

  • Visit the Canada Science and Technology Museum demo stage for an exciting scientific demonstrations, including A Hair-Raising Experience, Cold is Cool, or Physics: Amazing Feats.
  • There is quite the buzz at the Canada Agriculture Museum surrounding its newest exhibition, Taking Care of Beesness along with a real live hive.
  • At the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, sit in the pilot’s seat of the cockpit of the famous Canadair CT-114 Tutor Canadian Forces jet as a Museum interpreter describes its fascinating history.
