Make some noise! A Fascinating Musical Adventure at the Canada Science and Technology Museum

OTTAWA July 5, 2012 – On July 7 & 8, the Canada Science and Technology Museum (CSTM) offers a program that will be music to the ears of young music lovers eager to take part in a Musical Adventure.

The CSTM offers a variety of entertaining activities will allow youths 3 to 17 years old to better understand the science and appreciate the art of sounds over the week-end.

Participants will be able to craft their own music instruments from everyday life objects. They will discover the craft of the sound effect technician by creating their own sound effects score to accompany storytelling. The Sounds of the Museum scavenger hunt will see them discovering the Museum's exhibition through an aural perspective. Up-and-coming music stars will have opportunities to showcase their talent, whether by tickling the ivories on the grand piano, trying a variety of instruments from Long & McQuade, or by learning to record and mix their own tune.

WHAT : Musical Adventure; an activity program focused on music and sounds for youths 3-17 years old.
