These bilingual Edukits deliver information, activity plans and materials necessary to carry out a comprehensive series of lessons. Each Edukit emphasizes hands-on activities, Canadian content and offers flexibility. Designed in modules, units can be delivered in any desired order.

Discover how energy is produced in today’s world. Includes hands-on activities on the basics of electromagnetism, experiments using renewable electrical energy sources, instructions on how to read and draw a basic wiring diagram, and experiments using series and parallel circuits.

Alternative Energy and Green Vehicle Technologies
(Grades 9 and up)

Explore the basics of electrical circuitry by examining automotive technology. Includes hands-on demonstrations about electric motors and combustion engines. Visualize how energy is recovered in hybrid-electric vehicles. Make biofuel, and measure exhaust gas emissions. Discover electrochemistry as you assemble a fuel-cell vehicle. The Wonderful World of Woolly the Sheep
(Kindergarten to Grade 2)

Through stories, games, and fun activities, Woolly invites students from Kindergarten to Grade 2 to discover the needs and life cycle of sheep and the products that come from raising sheep. They learn about the duties of the shepherd, the herding dog, and guard animals. They handle wool and explore its properties. Students also create exciting crafts and conduct cool experiments to learn how fleece is transformed into everyday objects. This bilingual Edukit is developed by the Canada Agriculture Museum.
