Watt’s Up? Renewable Energies

Watt’s Up? Renewable Energies

"Energy can be transformed, but it can neither be created nor destroyed.” That is the principle of energy conservation. But does its transformation pollute? Are our sources running out? In a context where our energy needs increase, we have to ask ourselves questions and analyse the different ways we use to produce energy. Watt’s Up?, a fun and interactive exhibition for children. Throughout the next decade, Canada’s energy scene will be brought to change; we need to be prepared.

While children will transform renewable energy sources into electricity to feed their house’s multiple electrical appliances, parents will discover the major challenges associated with the exploitation of renewable energies. They will also discover the fantastic means that are being developed to satisfy our ever increasing energy need. What will Canada’s energy scene look like in a few years time? Many leads can be considered. One sure thing is that energy efficiency and energy saving have to be part of the solution...
