Technical Information:

This four-cylinder tractor with rubber tires was conceived by an industrial design team to be both practical and attractive. It was the first tractor equipped with live power take-off. This Canadian innovation allowed the tractor to operate machinery even when it wasn’t in motion.

This tractor had roughly 32 horsepower in the belt and just over 27 horsepower at the draw bar. It had 4 forward speeds and 1 reverse.

Manufacturer Information:

Cockshutt Farm Equipment was in 1877 by James G. Cockshutt. It was located in Brantford, Ontario. Originally, the firm distributed American-made tractors and designed accompanying implements. Eventually, the company ended its US agreement and decided to design and manufacture its own line of tractors.
