The Barnyard Bazaar at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum: a growing tradition

OTTAWA, November 27, 2014 – It is the time of year when everyone is looking for that special something for loved ones on Holiday gift list, or for that gourmet treat that will amaze the guests at the holiday feast table. A good place to look for those elusive items is the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum’s Barnyard Bazaar on Saturday, November 29.

The Barnyard Bazaar will take place in the CAFM’s Learning Centre. This year, the number of local food producers and artisans offering their creations has grown to about 30, and feature delicious local food products, such as wild boar, cranberry, honey and maple products, spices, sauces, preserves and rubs, various crafts such as alpaca wool products, hand-made soaps, toys, and much more are sure to make for original gifts this Holiday season.

The Barnyard Bazaar will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and access is included with Museum admission fee.
