What I saw at the Calgary Stampede
OTTAWA July 5, 2012 – Those who won’t have the opportunity to attend the « Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth’s » 100th edition in Calgary beginning today can still satisfy their inner cow-boy or cow-girl by visiting the Canada Agriculture Museum (CAgM).
Indeed, to celebrate the famous Albertan rodeo’s centennial, the CAgM has set up a display of artefacts related to the work of the cattle ranches of yesteryears.
Saddle, bit, chaps, and many more objects evoking the life of those mythical Western cattle drivers are the focus of the « What I saw at the Calgary Stampede » display, which continues until next November.
