The Healthy Kids Quest kicks off at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum

OTTAWA, April 23, 2014 – Members of the media are invited to attend the launch of the Healthy Kids Quest at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum (CAFM) on Thursday, April 24.

The Healthy Kids Quest is a free resource for teachers and community group leaders which encourages young children to make healthy lifestyle choices. This educational program is part of the Museum’s five-year commitment to food literacy through on site programs and national outreach.

A class of Ottawa schoolchildren will be introduced to the Healthy Kids Quest at the Museum; a photo opportunity with Ottawa RedBlacks mascot Big Joe will follow.
