Loans

Loans are available to other libraries throughout North America — if you know the Museum’s Library holds a book that interests you, please request it on interlibrary loan through your local public library. The loan period is four weeks.

Please note: the Library does not lend archival material, magazines, or technical manuals, although it can provide copies of articles for research purposes.

Image Reproductions

The Library and Archives has thousands of images that you can order for personal, non-profit, or commercial use. Many can be seen online in the Image Bank. Others can be found in the Canada Science and Technology Museum’s CN Gallery.

Please note: use of all Museum images is subject to terms and conditions. Orders are also subject to fees as outlined in the reproduction fees list.

For image orders, please include the following information:

  • the item(s) you want reproduced (by catalogue number if possible)
  • the intended use of the reproduction
  • your contact information
