Program Description

Students explore the impact of aviation and the development of the aerospace industry in Canada since the first powered flight in 1909. Iconic aircraft — including the de Havilland Canada Beaver and the Avro Arrow — are highlighted, as well as the Canadarm and the contributions of exceptional Canadians including Alexander Graham Bell, Commander Chris Hadfield, and Governor General Julie Payette.
