OTTAWA, March 2, 2012 – If you are wondering what to do during March break as it draws near, Canada's Science and Technology Museums offers a vast choice of activities to fill your agenda as well as your mind.

Here are some of the highlights of the special activities planned for our March break visitors:

The theme of March Break promises plenty of fun and games. Sixteen exciting days of hands-on activities include everything from balloon modelling, building towers and bridges with Kapla Blocks, brain teasers and Rubik's Cube challenges to storytelling featuring internationally acclaimed author of Franklin he Turtle, Paulette Bourgeois. Something for the genius in everyone!

Green Skies Ahead at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum

This year's March break theme is designed to get us thinking about the importance of energy conservation and of the "greening" of technology in every aspect of our lives, even air travel. Each day will be filled with junkyard airplane building workshops, parachute games, family movies, and guided tours. Several special family presentations and activities are planned including: a Beatboxing performance and workshop with Julia Dales and AAA (March 10), a Sky High Magic Show with Chris Pilsworth (March 17), the Gatineau Conservatoire's Great Concert Series with Jazz, Jazz and more Jazz (March 16) and not to be missed the 22nd Annual LEGO Contest (March 9 and 16).
