Discovery Channel’s Airshow star Carol Pilon at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum

OTTAWA, March 20, 2015 – To say that Carol Pilon has an unusual job would be an understatement.

As the only Canadian wingwalker, merely imagining the aerobatics and acrobatics she fearlessly performs sends shivers down the spine of the average person.

Visitors to the Canada Aviation and Space Museum will have the opportunity to meet with the daring wingwalker on Saturday and Sunday, March 21 and 22, from 11 am to 3 pm. Ms Pilon will be screening episodes of the Discovery Channel’s Airshow series, in which she stars.

Hailing from Masham, Quebec, in the National Capital Region, Ms Pilon has established many firsts. Apart from being the only active Canadian wingwalker, she has been the first to perform a walk on a jet-propelled aircraft, performed the first documented wingwalk in the State of Maine, and she is the the first woman to own and operate a wingwalking team in North America.
