Canada Day celebrations at the Canada Science and Technology Museum

OTTAWA June 28, 2012 – The Shay steam engine's whistle will blow, to call all Canadians aboard for one of the best Canada Day celebrations in town at the Canada Science and Technology Museum (CSTM).

Visitors can take a ride aboard the popular locomotive, which was in service from the 1920s to the 1970s in Brisitsh Columbia.

Among other featured activities on Canada Day are visits of the Cape North Lighthouse, and of the Helen Sawyer Hogg Observatory. The launch of water-propelled rockets is also sure to entertain the kids. Admission is free on Sunday, July 1st to mark Canada Day.
