If you really “Dig Science”, the Canada Science and Technology Museum is the place to be next week-end

OTTAWA, August 8, 2013 – Have you ever dreamt of discovering the mysteries buried under your feet? If so, you’ll want to bring your friends to the Canada Science and Technology Museum (CSTM) on August 10 and 11. Get ready to get your hands dirty!

Over the week-end, the CSTM offers activities under the theme “Dig Science.” Comme and explore the fascinating world of those who dig through the soil to discover what hides in it: Activities relating to archaeology and the mining industry will take centre stage.

Come sift through soil and identify the minerals you extract. Reconstruct a vase from its buried shards. Those are but a few of the activities you won’t want to miss as we mark Archaeology Month.
