SHAWINIGAN, March 21, 2012 – It is with great pleasure that the Canada Science and Technology Museum Corporation is partnering with the Cité de l'énergie, in Shawinigan, for the Tout feu tout flamme exhibition which will take place from June 23rd to September 30th.

This partnership constitutes the largest loan of artefacts from the Corporation to another institution. More than a dozen of the most beautiful fire engines – spanning a period from the early 19th Century to the mid-20th century – as well as many other artefacts such as ancient buckets, and life nets used to catch persons escaping fire by jumping out of buildings are sure to capture the public's imagination.

"We are very happy that CSTM accepted to lend us some of its most magnificent artefacts," says Robert Trudel, General Manager of the Cité de l'énergie. "Firefighting and the historical andcontemporary technologies associated with it are always of great interest for young and old alike."
