The Author
Kristy Martin researched and created the outline for Dear Ellie: Letters from the West website story while completing her MA in Public History at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This work was undertaken in partnership with the Canada Science and Technology Museum (CSTM). Kristy graduated in June 2006 and returned to the CSTM for a summer internship to continue working on the CSTM Picturing the Past website.
Originally from the Maritime Provinces, Kristy attended St Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick from 2000-2004. She graduated with first class honours in History. She currently works for the web development company, Idéeclic, as a Content Analyst.
