            CVR T-3a 2-10-4 steam locomotives were built by the American Locomotive Company (Alco)
            in 1928. Designed for heavy freight service, they were the largest locomotives used in
            New England at that time. They operated, until March 1957, along a route that linked
            Brattleboro, Vermont, to Belleville, Ontario, and Montreal, Quebec.
