Canada Day at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum
OTTAWA June 28, 2012 – Rain or shine, the Canada Aviation and Space Museum (CASM) will be a top venue for those looking to celebrate Canada Day.
Between a rocket launch by the Ottawa Rocketry Group and demonstrations of real ejection seats, a fly-by of the Snowbirds Air Demonstration Squadron, a tour of a CH-146 Griffon helicopter, as well as varied craft activities for the young and the young at heart, the CASM offers very « high » quality programming for the whole family on this day when all Canadians come together. Members of the Ottawa Police Service Airport Section, as well as members of the Military Police, will be on hand to offer demonstrations of their patrol vehicles, while the Royal Canadian Mounted Police will demonstrate one of its fleet's Pilatus aircraft.
Museum admission is free on July 1st for Canada Day.
