D-Day 70th Anniversary Preparations Media Availability at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum

OTTAWA, June 4, 2014 – The Canada Aviation and Space Museum (CASM) is actively preparing its site to host the 70th D-Day commemoration ceremony this Friday June 6. As part of the preparations, the arrival of a vintage Douglas DC-3 aircraft from the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton Ontario is expected on Thursday June 5. The aircraft will be available for media tours and photo opportunities, as well as interviews with Second World War veterans on site.
