The Canada Aviation and Space Museum and the 501st Legion of Ottawa make a donation to Make-A-Wish Canada

OTTAWA, August 19 2013 – Throughout the Summer, members of Ottawa's Capital City Garrison, 501st Legion donned their fascinating costumes to portray the characters created by George Lucas at various events to promote the STAR WARS™: Identities – The Exhibition at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum (CASM).

In order to thank members of the Capital City Garrison, 501st Legion for their great generosity and availability, the CASM will hand Commander Luc Lavictoire $8,000 that the Capital City Garrison, 501st Legion will donate to Make-A-Wish Canada, so it can grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, to enrich their human experience with hope, strength, and joy.
